BAI LANGUAGES - Spanish Courses - Spanish & Football - Our Summer Spanish Programme at a Glance

BAI Languages & Elite Football Camp

BAI Languages together with an elite group of former Spanish national team and first and second division players offer an exclusive two-week football and language programme.

Train with former F.C. Barcelona, Atlético Madrid, and R.C.D. Espanyol players. Study and play football in the relaxed atmosphere of a beach town just 30 kilometres north of Barcelona, one of Europe’s most beautiful and vibrant cities.

Football campus includes:

  • Three hours training per day (Monday-Friday) for two weeks.
  • Daily training with elite and nationally qualified trainers, many formerly Spanish national and first division players.
  • Water, isotonic drinks, and fruit available at each training session.
  • Training jersey.
  • Individual report on each player at the end of campus.
  • Daily postings on web with photographs, training activities, anecdotes, excursions, and visits from present first division players. (Allowing parents to keep up with their sons or daughters’ daily activities.)
  • Visits by current first division players (F.C. Barcelona or R.C.D. Espanyol), who take part in drills and talk to campus participants.
  • Full insurance.

The objective is to develop the full potential of each player, no matter his/her level, and at the same time impart lessons that promote sportsmanship and the all-around well-being of each player. We welcome players of all abilities between the ages of 12-17, and also club teams. Groups are divided according to age and skill levels, each group of 10-12 having its own trainer. Sessions focus on individual skills and team play.

Language classes include:

  • Three hours of language study per day (Monday-Friday) for two weeks.
  • Choice of Spanish or English classes.
  • Level tests to determine language skills.
  • Native-speaking teachers who are experienced and highly-qualified, teaching to the standards of the Instituto Cervantes (Spanish) or the British Council (English).
  • Individual report on each student’s progress at the end of the campus.

Classes are designed to emphasize oral communication in a varied and interesting atmosphere. Students practice and develop their language skills using authentic materials in a way that promotes real learning and self-confidence.
