 Spain was an experience of a lifetime. I didn’t want to come at first but I’m sure glad I did. It was an awesome month. I met lots of new people and enjoyed my stay with my host family very much. Thank you for teaching us Spanish…. Loved my teacher! Mataró was a pleasant surprise. It took me a day or two to warm up to it, but once I got comfortable here it was awesome. I especially liked the trip up the Costa Brava and the trips into Barcelona. I highly recommend the whole experience.

 The monitors are amazing. Thank you too, Anna and Jaume, my host family parents. They made me feel so welcome and got me over my first few days of homesickness. It was an incredible and simply awesome experience. The French kids were cool and we had a great time at the barbeque and disco. Also, the field trips to Barcelona and Port Aventura.

 I loved my host family. Also the new friends I made and the monitors. I love SPAIN! The classes were good, the school had internet access, and the staff was very helpful with any little problem I had. Ari, my host sister, and I did everything together. She and her friends treated me like a local from the start, and I got to live like a Spaniard for one month. I’d go back in a second.

 I had the best time of my life! Everyday was something new and something fun. The people I met in Mataró were so generous and friendly. I’m a big city boy and didn’t think I was going to like it here, but I loved it. The town is easy to get around in and the school is only five minutes from the beach. The monitors were great and so were the activities. I love Barcelona. What a city!

The interaction in the classroom and with the other students were great. I found the classes a bit easy, most of the grammatical concepts I had already covered. It was the highest level class and the teacher got me to help her sometimes, so that made it better. My host family was excellent and I had a great time with Chantel, their daughter. I enjoyed most the theater, dancing, and the disco. Barcelona was awesome and so was the trip to Port Aventura. I was kind of worried at first, but everything turned out great, thanks in big part to my host family and the school staff.
