We offer the option of individual or team basketball programmes:

  1. Train for one or two weeks in the summer with the renowned shooting coach Josep Maria Margall. A former captain of Club Joventut and a participant in three Olympic Games (silver medallist in 1984), Margall’s elite shooting campus is limited to fifteen players (minimum age 15) already possessing polished basketball skills. Players train five hours per day, three in the morning, two in the afternoon Monday through Friday. Saturday morning is dedicated to video sessions analysing and improving individual player’s shooting technique. Midday language classes Monday through Friday are taught by native-speaking teachers who are experienced and highly-qualified, teaching to the standards of the Instituto Cervantes (Spanish) or the British Council (English). An individual report on each student’s progress is given at the end of the programme.

  2. Basketball clubs train for one, two, or three weeks under coach Josep Mª Raventós, former trainer of such well-known players as Ricki Rubio, Rudy Frenández, and Pere Tomás at Club Joventut. He is currently sub-director of the Catalan technical centres and the Catalan national team. These programmes are year round and open to boys and girls teams of all skill levels between the ages of 13-17. Training sessions are three hours per day Monday through Friday, and cover various aspects of the game:
    • Technique: shooting, passing, rebounding
