Brief School History
BAI Languages opened its doors in January 1991. Our philosophy has always been to provide quality language instruction, qualified and experienced teachers, and friendly and efficient and staff, all in a comfortable and hospitable setting.
Located in the heart of Mataró and just seconds from cafés, restaurants, and shops, our school offers a spacious library and multimedia center, which share the first floor with the reception area and our teachers’ room. Air-conditioned classrooms occupy the two floors above. Our multimedia center, as well as our library, is open to all students for studying or connecting to the internet.
Since 2000 we have had ISO 9002 certification, and are still the only language school in Maresme county to obtain this highly coveted recognition of quality and service.
We offer language classes year-round at our school site, plus in-company, one-to-one, and private classes for businesses and individuals in Mataró, Maresme, and Barcelona. During the summer months, our International Campus offers Spanish language classes combined with cultural, adventure, and fun activities to students from around the world, including our highly regarded basketball and tennis language programmes.
